Bio:

Late in life, Ven (AKA Venturous1.livejournal.com) discovers she has always been slashy. I am thrilled to discover this lively world, filled with creative people.

I really love the continuous flow of incredible writing and art. The stories are absolutely amazing. I have been moved to laughter, tears, I have practically walked in front of busses becasue I couldnt stop reading, I have run through reams of paper and gallons of ink (need a laser printer!) and still there is more. I even have plot bunnies of my own hopping about.

The fan art really inspires me, and I am working on improving my drawing and digital painting technique by entering fests and challenges. In fact, I consider fandom to be my self-directed graduate school in illustration. Imagine that, an MFA, in pr0n!! **is pleased by my own cleverness**

Previous art pursuits have been analog landscapes and graphic design. My skills at portraiture pretty much sucked; but since I took up drawing on my morning commute (I see HP characters all over town!) and a portrait class, I have actually improved. My gift recipients are no doubt grateful.
